Confessions of a bag lady.........  I just completed the Walk for Life for Cancer Research. 5km in 1 hour and 5 minutes. Not bad for a fat old cripple, eh? I wasnt the only one with a stick either. Got really choked up at the end - JD and I just hugged one another, crying and laughing at the same time. The girls went on ahead - and finished in 58 minutes. They both wore messages on their backs saying, 'for the Nan and Grandad that we never got to meet' - I am so proud of all of us - and Im sure mum and dad would be too. It was a fantastic atmosphere - sure I will post some photos in the next few days.Off to have my celebratory take away now kaj xxxx http://www.raceforlifesponsorme.org/kar only one week to go - all contributions very gratefully recieved - thanks kaj xxxx A lovely old man I know passed over today - please give thoughts to the brave family, who nursed him at home until the end. but very happy. Went to see one of the best bands on the planet tonight - the Manic Street Preachers. And Mab and I sang our hearts out, and cheered, and clapped - and she looked gorgeous in her short dress and feather boa (you have to be a Manics fan to understand the significance of the feather boa). After all the stress recently - it was just what Ian and I both needed. So thank you Ian and Mab for your company. And thank you James Dean Bradfield, Nicky Wire and Sean Moore (and Richey Edwards) for making some of the best music ever made!! night all kaj xxx Current mood:  enthralled.
to see Angels and Demons tonight. Oh how I would have enjoyed it - if only I hadnt read the book! Spent the whole journey home trying to explain to Ian how many vital things had been left out - and how the ending had been completely changed. Of cheap plastic greenhouses. Despite being weighed down by blocks, my greenhouse full of vegetable seedlings was blown over by the wind today. Not sure how much will live - have given them all a feed to get over the shock! ( Flowers n stuff ) hope you enjoy them kaj xxx I just want it on record that MsDemmie and budgie are two of the most loving, generous, genuine, wonderful people that I have ever met. They simply want to be left to live their lives in their beautiful Devon hideaway. They dont deserve any media intrusion - and if you really want to know about them, ask me -NOT THE FUCKING NEWS OF THE WORLD! Current mood:  angry.
